When do I need to enrol my child?
Enrolments for the coming year open in early September. You will be advised by the end of October of a place for your child for the coming year.
What if we live out of the zone?
Out of Zone Enrolment applications should be made by mid September. The number of places available will be notified through the local newspaper. If there are more applications than places available a ballot will be held.
How will Pinehill ensure a smooth start for my child when they start school?
Our induction programme is designed to ensure all the things that your child needs to know about when they start school are covered in the pre entry visits before their start date. We operate a transition class where all children starting school at 5 go into this class in order to settle them into Pinehill before they move to our year 1 classes. We also offer an information session for new parents twice a year. During this session areas covered include, understanding your child's work and how to support their learning.
What are the schools hours?
School opens for pupils at 8.15 am. Classes begin at 8.50 am. Classes finish at 3 pm.
Does the school offer after school care?
Pinehill does not have an onsite after school care programme. City Impact and SKIDS both collect children in buses from the school at 3 pm daily.
